TintingPro is a dealer and installer of 3M™ Scotchshield™ safety and security films, which hold glass together during destructive weather, smash-and-grab crimes, or acts of terrorism. These tough films also help to maintain the integrity of a structure’s outer shell to keep wind, rain, and flying glass from wreaking havoc inside. In addition, they reject harmful UV rays, which cause fading. Scotchshield films have been tested vigorously and exceed industry standards for impact and tear resistance. Our complete safety system incorporates a flexible silicone adhesive that captures and absorbs the impact energy. This system allows the window frame to bend and twist in response to impacts, increasing personal safety from flying glass.

Scotchshield standard films feature a clear, single-layer polyester film coated with a special thicker adhesive designed to help hold broken glass together. Thickness ranges from 7–14 mil.
